Those who sing pray twice.
St. Ambrose Parish: a treasure of a parish located in Parchment, Michigan. A singing parish who support the efforts of the musicians who gather to lead the music for Sunday celebrations, Holydays, Funerals and other church activities.
Any member of our parish is welcome to join the singing whether it be from the pew or by joining the choir. You are always welcome! We rehearse on Thursdays through the year (every other Thursday during the Summer) at 6:00pm in the music area of the church. Seasonal Choirs are formed for Christmas and Easter and anyone wanting a shorter commitment time are welcome to join us for these specific holiday/holyday masses. We continue to try and form a permanent Children's Choir for children Grades 3-8.
If you are interested in joining us or have questions, please contact me by leaving a message at the Parish Office or talking with me after any of the masses. We'd love to have you join us. Both singers and instrumentalists are welcome.

REHEARSAL FOR THE CHOIR FOR THE CHRISTMAS EVE, 4:00 PM MASSDear students and parents,
Christmas is coming fast! I would like to suggest the following rehearsal schedule for both students, parents and catechists who are willing to lead the music for the Mass and the Christmas pageant:
After the 11:15 Mass for (12:30-1:00) on the following Sundays:
November 9, November 16, November 23
NO Rehearsal on November 30 (Thanksgiving Weekend)
NO Rehearsal on December 7 (Feast of St Ambrose and Parish’s 70th Anniversary Celebration)
Rehearsals on December 14th, December 21st.

NOTES FROM THE CHOIR
It's that time of year!! We have begun Christmas Choir rehearsals for the Adult Choir on Thursdays at 7 p.m.
If you're looking for a short term commitment then this is the group for you. You need not know how to read music and if you learn better
by ear make sure to bring your phone or tape recorder to record your parts for the songs. Most rehearsals will only last one hour!
If you have any questions, please see Beth. This choir will sing at the 7:00 Mass on Christmas Eve
and the 10:00 Mass on Christmas morning. Hope to see you there!!!Beth A. McElhone
