The mission statement for the St. Ambrose Parchment Church:
”One family in Christ, called by the Holy Spirit to develop a family of faith in Christ, the people of St. Ambrose Parish embraces Christ's call to know, love, and serve God within our hearts, in our homes, and in our world community”.
We, the Religious Education Team, headed by the DRE and executed by the faithful men and women are here to guide the future people of our church. In Proverbs 16:16, “How much better to get wisdom than gold, to get insight rather than silver.” The understanding that there are very few things in life that can never be taken away, will go out of style, and that truly make you a better person, but an education in the word of God which is timeless and ever useful.
We make a successful program through working with one another to support our volunteers and the children. Remember in Luke 18:16, “But Jesus called the children to him and said, ‘Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these.’” The best teachers for the youth, is you! So, we invite parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles to take an active part in the church. Please consider volunteering in the many church ministries and activities, there is always a place for you!
